Texas Tech 79, Syracuse 74 box. Behind 20 points plus six boards in 24 minutes from Darrion (Capital Christian/Bishop Gorman/Nevada) Williams and Chance (St. Patrick-St. Vincent/Bethel High/Golden State Prep/Grand Canyon) McMillian's 13 and four, Texas Tech defeated Syracuse in Brooklyn, New York.
Saturday, November 26 NCAA scores
Stanford 71, Santa Clara 69 box. Jaylen Blakes, who earned 10 assists, buried the game-winning deuce with two seconds remaining as Stanford downed host Santa Clara. Maxime Reynaud was extra large for the Cardinal with 32 points and 16 boards and teammate Oziah (Modesto Christian/Southern Cal Academy/USC) Sellers provided 23 points from the backcourt .
St. Mary's 80, Cal Poly 66 box. Former walk-on 6-foot-6 Luke (Piedmont High) Barrett paced the Gaels with 19 points and added 10 boards, three assists and two steals.

Liberty 67, Kansas State 65 box. Coleman (Antelope High/Prolific Prep/Illinois) Hawkins produced 11 points, five boards and four assists for KState.
Montana 83, Denver 73 box. Money (Oakland High) Williams totaled 17 points, four rebounds and three assists for the Griz.
California 83, Sacramento State 77 box. Andrej (Jesuit High/Stanford) Stojakovic led the Bears with 20 points thanks to going 11-15 at the foul line. For the Vandals, two tlents shined on their return to the Bay Area. Julian (St. Joseph Notre Dame/Chico State/CCSF/University of Alberta) Vaughns tallied 18 points and backcourt teammate EJ (Sacred Heart Cathedral/CCSF/Idaho) Neal added 16 points.

City College San Francisco 89, West Valley College 85 John Bynum Jr.: "Miles Amos scored a game high of 27 points and King Wilhite added 16 points as San Francisco remained unbeaten and won their eighth straight game with a 89-85 over West Valley in Saratoga on Friday evening. CJ Willenborg had 18 points in the loss for the Vikings." The victors succeeded on the road.

On Thursday, Shane (Salesian Prep) Bell aided the Cal State Los Angeles cause with 15 points and five steals in a 70-49 defeat of Azuza Pacific.

On a tear of late, 6-foot junior guard Nick (St. Patrick-St. Vincent) Medeiros scored 18 points (26 minutes) on an extremely efficient 7-9, 2-2, 2-2 shooting accuracy and led Sonoma State to an 80-61 success versus Menlo College.
Four of Chico State's starters finished in double figures scoring (the fifth tallied nine points) in the 70-61 Wildcat win over Dominican University. Nathan (CCSF) Ilunga posted a 17 point, 10 rebound double-double for DU.

On Friday, a Jackson State player lost a shoe on his made basket, then picked up his shoe as he ran back but trailed the action and chuck it at his man who scored unscathed at the other end of the court. Kentucky won 108-59 so it wasn't exactly critical, just ... different.
