5-foot-10 Isaiah (Dublin High) Wong is playing 21 minutes a game for Embry-Riddle (AZ) and averaging 8.8 points per game thus far. He is shooting 65%, 50% and 88% respectively with 13 assists in five games.

Vincent is out of St. Mary's High in Stockton. He was injured almost all of last season but supposedly is healthy now. Maybe physically okay but with his confidence reduced and no sense of any shooting rhythm.

Out of Sonora High, 6-foot-3 Austin Patterson started his higher education out at Wofford College (South Carolina) for two years, then came home for two seasons primarily as a starter at Sacramento State and now is at Montana as a senior. As a Hornet, he made at least 50 threes in both years and led the team in scoring over the final eight games of the season at 15.4 points per game. He has started slowly in Missoula, averaging 7.3 points in 23 minutes per contest while shooting 40%, 21%, and 75%, respectively. He's also grabbing 2.7 rebounds an outing. Montana has played in three games thus far.

Elijah Mahi hasn't missed a beat in moving over to Santa Clara from West Valley College. The 6-foot-7 Canadian is second on the Broncos in scoring at 14.5 points in 22 minutes per game. Santa Clara has participated in two contests so far this season. He is shooting 55%, 57%, and 25%, respectively. Mahi has five assists and five steals to date alongside his 2.0 nightly rebounds.

Pacific 80, San Jose State University 67 box The offense as well as the defense this time fell apart: shooting 36% overall and 16% on threes while Pacific shot 49% overall even with a brand new team after a coaching departure.
