Cal State East Bay Basketball: "Very sad news with the passing of CSUEB Basketball alum Robert Garrett. Big Rob had a tremendous smile, a heart warming positivity, and an inspirational selflessness that brightened the lives of so many. Our thoughts, prayers and support are with his family."

The 6-foot-11, 270 Garrett played three years at Santa Clara before transferring to CSU East Bay and Coach Gus Argenal. He graduated from Sacramento High.

Weary is a 6-foot-6 forward at Modesto Christian High.

6-foot-2 guard Jalen Brown of Modesto Christian is headed to Regis University in Denver. He committed earlier to Cal State San Marcos until a coaching change took place.

Cameron Joseph has committed to University of Redlands down in southern California. He's 6-foot-4 and out of Armijo High and Napa Valley College.

Zion Sensley: "Exited to share for my Senior Year I’ll be going back home to attend Archbishop Riordan! Exited for what’s to come!"

Sensley is a 6-foot-8 combo guard with tremendous promise.

Vaughns is a 6-foot-4 guard out of  St. Joseph Notre Dame High, CCSF and University of Alberta.

John Bynum Jr.: "Isaiah Victor (Las Positas) has received an offer from Florida International University. Victor averaged 17.2 points and 3.1 rebounds last season for the Hawks."

Victor is 6-foot-2 and out of Manteca High. He buried 89 treys this past season.

Hampton transferred from Moreau Catholic.

San Jose State Men's Basketball: "Omari Moore's stock rose on day one of the NBA Combine.  Moore finished 1st in the spot shooting drill and 5th in the pro lane drill."

Marc J. Spears: "Shot out to former San Jose State MBB star Omari Moore who shot the NBA 3-pointer well during the #NBAPreDraftCamp on Monday. Heard some really nice reviews on the Mountain West Conference Player of the Year including one assistant GM saying, “Tell your boy to stay in the draft.”

The guard checked in at 6-foot-5 and 1/4, 189 pounds.

Lane Titans Men's Basketball: "CONGRATS TO DEVEAN HINTON ON HIS COMMITMENT TO CORBAN UNIVERSITY! 

Devean Hinton averaged 15 Point and 10 rebounds a game while shooting 54% from the field! 

Corban is coming off a season where they won 20 games and qualified for the NAIA National Tournament!"

Hinton is a 6-foot-7, 215 sophomore out of Liberty High.

The 6-foot-8, 215 Chapman is a transfer from Hawaii Pacific -- Cal State East Bay offered in early April. He graduated from Healdsburg High.

7-foot, 190 Adrame Diongue (7'6" wingspan) is transferring from Washington State after one season. He signed out of Arizona Compass Prep in Phoenix. Diongue graduated from the prep ranks as #43 in the country per ESPN and a consensus four star prospect. The reason this is being posted here? SJSU Head Coach Tim Miles recently hired Ed Gipson, who was the head coach at Compass Prep, as an assistant.

Meanwhile, SJSU has a commitment from 6-foot-1 Bennett Blackerby, a sharpshooting point out of the Texas high school ranks.

Coilton is 6'foot-3, 245 and out of Weston Ranch High. He averaged 11.3 points and 5.7 rebounds this past season.
