Anthony Moore: "1,000% committed 💜💜 go Wildcats!"

Out of Stockton's Lincoln High, the 6-foot-6 Moore sports a 4.0 grade point average in addition to his D1 level basketball skills. His other offers included Columbia, UCSD, Cal Poly, Montana, SUU, Northern Illinois, Pacific, UTRGV and High Point.

"[Jeff Goodman] AJ Dybantsa will cost somewhere in the $7-9 million range."

The 6-foot-9 Dybantsa is considered by many to be the top player in the 2025 recruiting class, a one-and-done vis-a-vis college hoops. A few talent scouts of late have him headed to BYU since he recently transferred to a prep school in Utah. Does BYU have that kind of money? Possibly. North Carolina, Kansas and Alabama are also in the running and their respective NIL moneypots can fulfill that kind of ask/requirement. The fifth possibility is Kansas State which laid out  $2,000,000 this season for the services of Coleman (Antelope High/Prolific Prep) Hawkins.

Here's Goodman again: "...“I would bet my house on the fact that they’re top five in NIL dollars, and might even be in the top three. And that says a lot about (Kansas State Coach) Jerome Tang; in a short time, he’s been able to connect with the people that matter. The guy is elite-level at connecting with people.”

Had no idea that a second sport at a college could raise such $$$.

Ty Virgil: "I am blessed to receive an offer from Pepperdine University. Thank you to Coach Schilling and the rest of the coaching staff for believing in me!!"

Virgil stands 6-foot-6 and formerly attended Sheldon High but is now at Hillcrest Prep in Arizona.

Jon Rothstein has traveled to northern California from NYC and here are his starting five predictions for Bay Area college squads: (not sure what happened to USF)

Stanford: "Jaylen Blakes, Oziyah Sellers, Ryan Agarwal, Chisom Okpara, Maxime Raynaud"

California: "Jovan Blacksher, Andrej Stojakovic, Rytis Petraitis, Joshua Ola Joseph, Mady Sissoko"

St. Mary's: "Augustas Marciulionis, Jordan Ross, Luke Barrett, Paulius Murauskas, Mitchell Saxen"

Santa Clara: "Carlos Stewart, Adama Bal, Elijah Mahi, Johnny O'Neil, Christoph Tilly"

San Jose State University: "Will McClendon, Josh Uduje, Donavan Yap, Sadraque Nganga, Robert Vaihola"

Other Rothstein notes on St. Mary's and other teams:

"Who steps in for Aidan Mahaney at Saint Mary's? Jordan Ross. Playing with renewed confidence. Making his layups and limiting his turnovers. Breakout guy."

and

"A long-term name to keep an eye on from Saint Mary's: Oliver Faubert. 6-9 freshman has a chance. Remember The Name."

and

"Under-The-Radar Freshman: Mikey Lewis. Randy Bennett calls him "buckets". America will see why on November 4th against Towson."

and

"Paulius Murauskas, Mitchell Saxen, and Harry Wessels give Saint Mary's a massive frontcourt troika. Ridiculous size for the WCC."

and

"The sleeper at Santa Clara practice today? 6-foot-5 JUCO transfer Elijah Mahi. Really good athlete. Strong in PNR. Could be a starter for the Broncos."

and

"USC transfer Oziyah Sellers is shining here at Stanford practice. Playing with confidence and drilling shots. Looks primed to be the Cardinal's second-leading scorer in 2024-25 behind Maxime Raynaud."

and

"Under-The-Radar Glue Guy: Stanford's Jaylen Blakes. The Duke transfer has a chance to be one of the best on-ball defenders in the ACC. Plays with ruthless aggression on defense."

and

"San Francisco could have the WCC Freshman of the Year in back-to-back seasons. Tyrone Riley is a major talent. Lefty. Good size at 6-4. Different than Ryan Beasley, but could have a comparable impact as a freshman."

and

"Palpable Buzz at San Jose State regarding freshman guard Jermaine Washington. Always is shot ready on offense. An under-the-radar Mountain West freshman entering 2024-25."

and

"Under-The-Radar Mid-Major Star: UC Davis' Ty Johnson. Had 30 in the Big West Tournament title game against Long Beach State last March. He'll make you want to stream Big West games. REMEMBER THE NAME."

.........................

Jake Lieberman: "6'3 sophomore guard Cahmai Crosby out of Kilgore College is receiving interest from Utah, North Texas, Western Kentucky, Bradley, Pacific, Longwood, among others. Bowling Green, Northwestern State & App State have recently offered Crosby."

Jake Lieberman: "6'6 PG Jimma James out of Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College tells me that he's receiving interest from Seton Hall, Oklahoma State, Rutgers, San Francisco, Charlotte, UAB, Utah State, Tulsa, Wyoming, ORU, Marshall, Oakland, LBSU & SJSU.

Offer from Central Michigan."

"Kendrick Perkins is grossly exploiting young athletes through their NIL rights"

Full Court Press Pod : A College BBALL Experience: "Watch out for the WCC hoops this year. We predict four teams in the #NCAAB Tourney - Gonzaga, St. Mary’s, Santa Clara and San Francisco."

The dates allowed to transfer/sign have been changed.

On the Santa Clara University coaching staff are two interesting hires, maybe a third.

Will Burkett's latest title is Assistant Coach/Operations and the 6-foot-4 former Bronco is a graduate of Santa Clara. As a player, he started out at St. Francis Central Coast Catholic, then Monterey Peninsula College before heading to Silicon Valley.

Now an assistant coach as well as video coordinator, 6-foot-3 Jackson Gion is a graduate of Bellarmine College Prep. He attended Linfield College (OR), graduated from Foothill College and then Sonoma State University. Gion also worked as a graduate student manager with Santa Clara from 2018 to 2020.

Bronco employee #3 is graduate student Andre Kelly. A bio has yet to be attached to his name but his head shot photo sure looks the same as the Andre Kelly who played four years at California. An imposing figure at 6-foot-9, 255, he graduated from Stockton's Lincoln High.
