The Anteaters are a successful program and UC Irvine Coach Russell Turner has been in Orange County for 14 seasons so it's likely he'll be sticking around. Plumtree is a 6-foot-7 forward out of New Zealand. Walters is out of the Santa Cruz area and most recently assisted at West Valley College. He played one season (2018-19) at Colorado Mesa for DeGeorge.

The Santa Cruz Warriors have hired (now) former Valley Christian High Assistant Coach Alec Vucinich as a basketball operations/coaching associate. He is a graduate of University of LaVerne and from Scotts Valley High (near Santa Cruz) before that.
Mark Tollefsen is also moving into a basketball operations/coaching associate position. He played at San Ramon Valley High, USF and Arizona and then overseas.
