Mr. J Brown: "Proud of you, proud of the season you had. Looking forward to the next few years. Congrats on signing with Cal State Dominguez Hills."
6-foot-2, 165 pound Jalen Brown is back in Cali, be it the southern portion. As a sophomore at Regis University (CO), he averaged 13.0 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists. Prepped at Modesto Christian High.

Out of the Arizona high school ranks, 6-foot-7 Garrett Anderson played two seasons for Coach Tim Miles at San Jose State University before transferring to Central Washington University, a D2 school. Now he has transferred again and it appears, with some assistance from Miles, Anderson is back in D1.
"...Miles, a former Mayville State and North Dakota State head coach, provided a connection between Anderson and the Fighting Hawks.
Miles was an assistant coach at Northern State when the Wolves recruited current UND head coach Paul Sather out of high school..."
Good for Anderson and credit to Miles as too many coaches have an out of sight, out of mind approach once a player departs.

Jake Lieberman: "2026 6'1 PG Mason Magee out of Basha HS (AZ) & Compton Magic has taken an official visit to Cal, I’m told. Magee holds offers from the likes of St. Louis, Fresno State, Louisiana, West Virginia, Seton Hall, Grand Canyon, New Mexico State, +."

Dinos Trigonis: "Belmont Shore/CA unsigned 6-9+ 2025 Kenyon Demuynck just officially visited Sacramento State. Athletic rim-protector & Bay Area native will be with Belmont at NCAA certified Pangos Terrific 24 @ KROC Center/Memphis TN next wkd."
Raw offensively and needs added weight/strength but he could truly blossom with the appropriate tutelage in college. Going with the Hornets would be a great fit but see just below about the signing of a similarly-sized player. Demuynck is a Hayward native.
AND
PortalUpdates: "Stony Brook transfer Jeremiah Nyarko has committed to Sacramento State. The 6’9” junior forward appeared in 8 games for the Seawolves, averaging 2.4 points, and 1.9 rebounds in 8.1 minutes per game."
So Nyarko will be a senior. A native of Ghana, he is on the slim side at 200 pounds.

The 5-foot-11 soon-to-be Campolindo High grad is headed to The Taft School in Connecticut, a prep school.
