Mahmoud Fofana has entered the transfer portal. He played this season at Cal State Northridge, at Cal State San Bernardino before that, at West Valley College before and at Santa Teresa High. At 6-foot-6, 185, he came over with his CSSB head coach Andy Newman who nabbed the Northridge job. Fofana averaged 5.1 points and 5.6 rebounds in 21 minutes a game.

This move is a mystery.

Chico State junior All-CCAA Second Team guard Evan Oliver is headed to Cal State University San Bernardino where he attended games in his youth. He led Chico in scoring this season at 12.6 points per game.

In 29 games/starts and 31 minutes a contest this season, 6-foot-3 senior CJ (Dublin High) Jackson averaged 13.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and shot 40%, 34% and 85% respectively for Purdue Northwest.

Antelope Valley's Michael Hayes, one of six returning NAIA All-America selections from a year ago, was named to the Third Team for the second consecutive year. Hayes, a Tracy, Calif., native was voted the California Pacific Conference Player of the Year for the second straight season, leading the Pioneers to a 26-5 record, their sixth regular season title, the top seed in the postseason tournament, and their fifth appearance in the NAIA National Championship. A senior forward, Hayes averaged 16.9 points per game, and, for the second straight year, he led the Cal Pac in field goal percentage at 57.3 percent. He made his presence known at both ends of the floor, averaging 7.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 2.0 steals per contest. He improved in each category from last year's Player of the Year statistics.

The 6-foot-4 Hayes is out of West High, Las Positas College and Chico State.
