In his one season at Lamar, he led the team in scoring with 14.5 points per game, shooting 41%, 39% and 77% respectively. Good for depth.

Divine Sports Gospel: "INSIDE SCOOP. Brian Dutcher and Latrell Davis (San Jose State transfer) spotted at dinner in SD last night by a DSG source. Incoming Junior who scored 20 or more points in seven games on the season. Would be a GREAT get for the (Az)Tecs."
Dutcher is the head coach at San Diego State.
The blog title is intriguing but we ain't actually gospeling much of anything so...more desperately or (maybe -- yeah righto, we wish) divinely searching for material to post.
Followed soon thereafter by: Sam Kayser: "NEWS: San Jose State guard Latrell Davis has announced he’s committed to San Diego State. Davis is a native of Leeds, England who has played both of his collegiate seasons at San Jose State. He averaged 11.1PPG, 3.1RPG and 1.7APG this season."
Coach Dutcher must have picked up the check.

Joe Tipton: "NEWS: Washington State transfer forward LeJuan Watts has committed to Texas Tech, he tells On3sports. The 6-6 sophomore averaged 13.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game this season. Scored 22 points on Georgetown in The Crown."
Was hoping he might be related to the late Slick Watts since he has played for two teams in The Evergreen State (Eastern Washington in addition to WSU) but not to be. He's from Bullard High in the Fresno area. But his late father, Walter Watts, prepped at Mt. Pleasant High in San Jose.

Not NorCal connected but a fantastic read.

Jeff Goodman: "I polled 25-plus high-major coaches and this is what I came up with as far as salary numbers for this season. Obviously, there will be some outliers but this is a pretty good feel for what guys are getting now.
- PROJECTED ELITE GUYS (Top 10-15): $2.5 to 4 million
- PROJECTED ALL-LEAGUE PLAYER: $1.5 to 2.5 million
- PROJECTED STARTERS: $500K to 1.5 million
- PROJECTED BENCH PLAYER: $200K to 700K"
I start dribbling a basketball tomorrow as I can fit into the fourth category. I think I have some eligibility left.

McKae Amundsen: "After a great conversation with Coach Looney, I am blessed and very excited to have received my first Division 1 offer from Idaho State University! Thank you to the coaching staff for believing in me!"
Amundsen is a 5-10 sharpshooting point guard attending Clovis North High. His brother just finished his first season at Dartmouth.

Jake Lieberman: "Freshman 6'6 Lafayette guard transfer Alex Chaikin tells me that he's heard from Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Indiana, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, Cal, Richmond, VCU, FAU, UC San Diego, St. Joe's, South Florida, +. Averaged 13.9 points (47.9% 3PT), 2.6 rebounds & 1.1 assists."
Add San Francisco and a host of others in pursuit.
