Mikey Lewis (Oakland, CA) Prolific Prep Press Release:

Friday October 27th, 2023 

Prolific Prep of Napa Christian (CA) 2024 6'4" G Mikey Lewis (Oakland, CA) chooses St. Mary's College (CA) of the West Coast Conference over the University of Illinois, Ole Miss, and a host of other schools.

Mikey Lewis played for the Oakland Soldiers (CA) of the Nike EYBL throughout his High School career and had a huge Spring and Summer this past year (2023) averaging 18.1 PPG, 4.5 RPG, 2.2 APG.

Mikey Lewis is the reigning Offensive Player of the Year in the Grind Session league and a 2 time All League player his sophomore and junior seasons on the Grind Session.

Mikey joins 6'8" F Zion Sensley as the 2nd committed player in the Class of 2024 for St. Mary's College (CA) and Coach Randy Bennett's squad. Zion also hails from the  Bay Area and played his sophomore and junior seasons with Prolific Prep of Napa Christian.

Excellent choice. Lewis will get better with the Gaels system, St. Mary's will continue to win, even more.

Speaking of the Gaels, they bopped Fresno State 103-68 in an exhibition matchup.

Illinois topped Kansas 82-75 in an exhibition pairing as Coleman  (Prolific Prep/Antelope High) Hawkins scored 14 points and contributed five rebounds. He shot 4-9 from three-point range.

Menlo College 82, Simpson University 64

Landon (Wood High) Seaman led Menlo with 17 points, Kaito (CSU East Bay/Sheldon High) Williams supplied 16 points and Nick (Foothill High) High contributed 13.
