6-foot-4 Jordan Espinosa has recently received an offer from Cal State East Bay Coach Bryan Rooney, who is one of the gems of the coaching profession. Espinoza is out of Clovis North High. Espinoza may not do anything great but he does a lot of things well and would be a solid addition to the Pioneers.

"Coach Andy Newman is also bringing one of his former players at Cal State San Bernardino with him, being 6'6 big man Mahmoud (Santa Teresa High/West Valley College) Fofana.  Fofana was a major reason CSSB made the Division 2 Final Four last season, as he averaged 8.4 points, 6.1 rebounds, 0.9 blocks per game while shooting an impressive 65.2 percent from the field.  At 6'6 Fofana is most productive in the painted area, but he can make mid range jumpers with some consistency. Offense aside, if there's one thing Fofana will bring to the team, it's interior defense and rebounding."

In The Almanac, the Beasleys, 5-foot-11 Ryan and 6-foot-4 Robby are listed both on the USF Roster and under USF Key Newcomers and there is a note that the younger will play right away but not a word on the eligibility status of his elder. Does Robby's double D1 transfer status (first Montana and then UC Davis) require some sort of an official NCAA ruling before he is allowed to return to the court?
