But Hill, who saw limited playing time as a junior, decided to return to Roosevelt for his senior season.

Lawson said Hill gained perspective from his experience in Arizona, where he averaged 3.1 points and 2.1 assists in 12 games in the National Interscholastic Basketball Conference for AZ Compass Prep

“I think it humbled him, in a sense,” Lawson said. “He got to see what it's going to look like when you get to a Division I college. Sometimes it's hard to decipher when you're having success with bad habits. I think it really helped him clean up a lot of bad habits. It really helped him mature.”

SJSU recently hired Ed Gipson, the former AZ Compass Prep head coach, as an assistant.

6-foot-4 2024 Campolindo guard Shane O'Reilly has moved east to Northfield Mount Hermon Prep School located in Massachusetts.

6-foot-3 Dathan Satchell started 17 of 23 appearances for Alaska Anchorage this season, producing 9.8 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.1 assists a contest and made team-high 53 treys on 40% three-point shooting. He's out of Modesto Christian High, Casper College (WY) and Las Positas College.

Jonathan Givony: "UC Santa Barbara power forward Miles Norris has agreed on a two-way contract with the Atlanta Hawks, a source told ESPN. The 6'10 Norris shot 39% on 3s this season."

He had an impressive senior season in 2022/23, averaging 14.1 points and 6.1 rebounds in 33.5 minutes per game (35 games) with a strong .490/.391/.844 shooting line.

Norris spent two years at CCSF.

6-foot-5 Derrick (Inderkum High) Claxton completed his freshman season at Cal Poly Pomona in which he averaged 8.5 points and 3.8 boards in 18.3 minutes a game. He shot 46%, 45% and 66% respectively.

5-foot-7 Jacob (Marysville High/Yuba College/University of Texas at Tyler) Henry has signed with OUAZ (Ottawa University of Arizona).

6-foot-2 senior guard Keshawn (Burbank High/Bellevue University) Bruner earned second team All-American NCCAA (National Christian College Athletic Association) honors for OUAZ (Ottawa University of Arizona) this season. He averaged 15.3 points and 4.6 boards while shooting 52%, 32% and 82% respectively in also being named an honorable mention NAIA All-American.

6-foot-8 senior Josiah (Clovis West High/Yuba College/Bellevue University) De'laCerda averaged 18.0 points and 7.1 rebounds (both team highs) while shooting 57%, 48% and 77% respectively this season for OUAZ (Ottawa University of Arizona). He was named a 3rd-team NAIA All-American.
