Joe Tipton: "Mason Magee, the No. 155 overall recruit in the 2026 class, has committed to San Francisco, source told Rivals. The 6-0 point guard chose the Dons over Stanford, Cal, Arizona State, Santa Barbara, and others."
Based on commits thus far, Stanford will be loaded with underclass backcourters starting next season.

Out of Arizona, he also had offers from Sacramento State and Seattle. He tripped to the Hornets on September 14.

I'm not remotely in a position to praise or negate the choices here but I do wish these types of surveys would require a choice of mid major head coaches and low major coaches, too.

Don't know why a re-offer was necessary but good for Bush, a 2025 6-foot-2 guard attending Archbishop Riordan.

Keathley is a 6-foot-5 2027 combo guard out of Kentucky.

Sports Illustrated's latest top NBA player rankings are out:
Aaron (Arizona) Gordon comes in at #41.
Damian (Weber State) Lillard owns the 33rd spot but an injury will likely keep him from playing this season.
Jalen (Santa Clara) Williams has rocketed to #20.

Verbal Commits: "2027 Temecula Valley (CA) G Jeremiah Profit has received an offer from California."
Profit stands 6-foot-5 and also excels -- 4.0 GPA -- in the classroom. Profit already has 13 offers, one in which is from Stanford.

Verbal Commits: "2026 AZ Compass Prep (AZ) F/C Alex Ensor has committed to Santa Clara."
The 6-foot-11, 220 pound Ensor was also offered by SJSU which has a former AZ Compass Prep head coach on staff but that obviously wasn't enough to sway the promising big. Santa Clara offered on September 21 and he committed on October 6.

Delly Mouthguard (SMC Fan): "Will Stevens is a talented and hard working PF that reminds me of a better Dane Pineau, if Dane had a sweet shot that extends out to three. He seems tailor made for SMC. But, Saint Mary's is the only school in his top 5 located outside the south."
Stevens will announce his decision on October 11.
