Kansas 84, Kansas State 74 box. Host Kansas got by its arch rival, maintaining a 10 point halftime lead. Coleman (Antelope High/Prolific Prep/Illinois)  Hawkins finished with 15 points, 10 assists and seven boards for KState.

Stanford 72, North Carolina 71 box. NC isn't a great team this season, particularly in the frontcourt, but still this one was played in Chapel Hill. Maxime Reynaud scored a team high 25 points (on 24 shots) and grabbed 13 boards while blocking four shots for the Cardinal. Jaylen Blakes hit a jumper with 1.5 seconds remaining for the winning points.

UC Davis 64, UC Santa Barbara 60 box. Ty Johnson scored over half of UCD's points total with 35 on 12-23, 2-5 and 9-9 shooting respectively.

California 65, North Carolina State 62 box. The Bears led by two points at the half, 31-29. 

Nevada 75, San Jose State University 64 box. The visiting Spartans were outshot 53% to 41% and out-boarded 37 to 26.

Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 69, Incarnate Word 63 box. In the loss, Dylan (Healdsburg High) Hayman produced 14 points, eights rebounds and three assists.

UNLV 74, San Diego State 68 box. Miles (Lincoln High) Byrd finished with 21 points but needed 20 shots to reach that mark in the loss.

Idaho State 86, Montana 62 box. Montana led 44-36 at the half but got blitzed by ISU defensively—50-18—in the second 20 minutes.

Northern Colorado 68, Sacramento State 64 box. Isaiah (Tracy High/USF) Hawthorne scored a team best 17 points for the host victors. Julian (St. Joseph Notre Dame/Chico State/CCSF/U Alberta) Vaughns picked up four fouls in nine minutes thus eliminating one of the few shooters for the Hornets.

Santa Clara 103, Gonzaga 99 box. The Broncos made a season-high 18 3-pointers on 47% (18-38)  accuracy beyond the stripe. Bronco guard Tyeree Bryan buried seven from long distance in scoring 35 points. Earlier this week, SCU scored 54 points in a loss to Loyola Marymount.

St. Mary's 74, Pepperdine 50 box. Luke (Piedmont High) Barrett led with 14 points and his seven boards tied for the team lead. The Gaels held the Waves to 34% overall shooting, 25% on three-point attempts.

San Francisco 81, Oregon State 70 box. Malik Thomas, as usual, led the way with a very efficient 24 points (8-11, 4-6, 4-5 shooting). Teammate Marcus Williams provided 21 points and point Ryan (Dougherty Valley High) Beasley led with six assists. The Dons shot 60% overall, 59% from long distance.
