More

--------------------

6-foot-5 Teiano Hardee has transferred to Cal State East Bay and Coach Bryan Rooney. He was at Sacramento State after a storied career at Vanden High. Hardee played in just nine games/36 minutes this season as a Hornet junior so likely can gain back a year of eligibility.

--------------------

6-foot-8 Deejuan (Grant High) Pruitt is transferring from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville to Jacksonville. After averaging 11.0 points (48% shooting) and 8.5 rebounds this season, Pruitt ended up punching an opponent in a league tournament quarterfinal game and tossed from the game. Look at this video of the two in the backcourt starting moments prior to the punch

What is the opponent doing? Besides baiting Pruitt in an extremely weird manner? Why didn't the referees rush in and separate the two long before the punch? Violence on the court should never be condoned but this was preventable.

Pruitt's departure from SIUE isn't a lone action as six of his teammates are also moving on. This from a 19 win squad is unusual.
