News Bits

Idaho Basketball: "DENKER CALLED GAME! Quinn (Bellarmine College Prep/West Valley College/Cal State San Marcos) Denker with the bank-shot winner."

I didn't see it banked in when I posted this earlier. Yep, the price of Denker jerseys just skyrocketed in Moscow, Idaho.

Do hit the link to see how Denker started out halfway in the backcourt with three seconds on the clock. This has to be a designed play.

Team Rondae Hollis-Jefferson: "OMG this is beautiful!!!!"

Hit the link above for a few moments of basketball purity. Love the two-feet jump stop. I can watch this video over and over.

Unfortunately, these old eyes can't make out the names of the two teams that are playing.

.........................

Chris Babcock: "Salesian 59 - Corona-Centennial 57 Final  CC had a final extended possession but the Pride D held tough for their 12th straight win & 2nd win over CC this season. Zander Jimenez 3 with roughly 50 seconds was game winner."

More on Jimenez.

Then Chris Babcock tweeted: "Great basketball game. Salesian loses it’s first game of the season in overtime to St John Bosco 68-66. A lot of ties and lead changes from the 4th quarter on."

Bosco has 6-foot-5 sophomore Brandon McCoy Jr. who already is a super talent. He's considered the #1 point in the country.

"Rocklin's (Mark) Lavrenov surpasses 1,000 career points"

.........................

"Memphis center Jordan Brown likely won’t return to the Tigers.   Brown was once expected to be the Tigers’ best player this season. He’s now left the team before Christmas."

.........................

Jalen Green Elite: "Please help us welcome Myles Jones to our program. 👏 The 6’4 Combo Guard will make an immediate impact to our team."

Jones attends Modesto Christian.
