"UC Merced senior Kingsley Obiorah played a key role in the Bobcats' program-best 19 wins this season, earning him the Cal Pac Defender of the Year award. UCM had the best team defense in the conference, and Obiorah's play was a big part of that success. He led the Cal Pac in blocks per game (1.7) and averaged 1.2 steals per contest. Additionally, he poured in 14 points per game and grabbed 8.9 rebounds."

Obiorah is out of Alameda High.

Cal State University San Marcos enjoyed a 20-11, 17-5 season and featured a number of northern California talents. 6-foot-3 Greg (Cosumnes Oaks High/Sacramento City College/Wyoming) Milton III averaged a team-leading 17.1 points on 6%, 39% and 73% shooting. 6-foot-2 Quinn (Bellarmine/West Valley College) Denker provided 14,5 points a contest with 44%, 42% and 92%. 6-foot-2 Jayce (Folsom High) McCain contributed 9.5 points while nailing 48%, 41% and 78% of his shot attempts. 6-foot-5 Zack (Vacaville High/Cal State East Bay) Pearlstein provided 7.3 points a contest while shooting 44%, 35% and 79%.
