Nevada 85, Santa Clara 59 box. The sole bright light for the Broncos being JC transfer Elijah (West Valley College) Mahi totaling 22 points. As a team, Coach Herb Sendek's crew shot 40%, 12% and 58%. The score was 47-26 at the half.
Cal State Northridge 79, Sacramento State 66 box. In 31 minutes, 6-foot-6 Mahmoud (Santa Teresa High/West Valley College/Cal State San Bernardino) Fofana scored seven points on four shot attempts and added a team high 10 rebounds, four offensive.

St. Mary's 77, Nebraska 74 box. Freshman guard Mikey (Prolific Prep) Lewis led the Gaels with 23 points in 29 minutes of court time. He shot 5-7 from three-point range and also pilfered four steals. Mitchell Saxen provided 12 points, 12 boards plus four steals.
Stanford 79, UC Davis 65 box. Maxime Raynaud exploded for 33 points plus 14 boards (eight offensive) while Davis was led by Ty Johnson's with 26 points. The Cardinal are now 4-0.
UC Santa Barbara 64, San Jose State University 59 box. Freshman Zion (Archbishop Riordan) Sensley played only three minutes for the Gauchos. The Spartans shot 6-23 on treys, again failing to show up as an outside threat.
California 71, USC 66 box. Andrej Stojakovic didn't make a trey (he tried two) but led with a Bear best of 20 points. An excellent road win for the Berkeley-ites.
