News Bits

Florida is the #7 seed in the South Region and will face either Boise State or Colorado on Friday. That faceoff will give Zyon (College Park High/UC Riverside) Pullin his first Big Dance appearance.

Chance (St. Patrick-St.Vincent/Bethel High/Golden State Prep) McMillian is going back  to the Big Dance. He transferred to Texas Tech after three years at Grand Canyon and the Lone Star Staters are a sixth seed in the South Region versus #11 seed North Carolina State. But this isn't something new as McMillian as Grand Canyon earned a March Madness invite in 2021. Two times in his college career — what are the odds?

Talk about odds. Senior Coleman Hawkins is with #3 Illinois. The Illini will face #13 Morehead State in the East Region on Thursday. Coach Brad Underwood's crew has enjoyed four straight trips to the Big Dance so its old hat.
