Aaron Gordon finished with 27 points, seven boards plus six assists in Denver's 108-95 win over Miami on Friday.  He shot 11-15, 3-4 and 2-3 overall.

Jeff Borzello: "Dayton transfer Mike Sharavjamts has committed to San Francisco, he told ESPN. Chose them over Nebraska & Memphis. Former ESPN 100 recruit averaged 5.6 PPG. Will be the starting PG, also feels at home with the diversity of the city, specifically the Mongolian & Asian communities."

John Bynum Jr.: "Jaiden Rivera (Chabot) has committed to Belmont Abbey College (NC) on a full scholarship. Rivera averaged 14.9 points and 2.8 rebounds last season for the Gladiators."

The 6-foot-3 sophomore earned earned First Team All Coast-North Conference honors as well as a selection to the First Team All Defense squad. He shot 46%, 36% and 81% respectively. Rivera is out of Milpitas High. Belmont is a DII school.

The 6-foot-7, 215 Safranka is out of Oakwood School in Morgan Hill and headed to Connecticut.

The Portal Report: "Louisiana (D1) transfer Jordan Brown has entered the transfer portal, per source. 

Brown is a 6'11 forward who averaged 19.3 points and 8.6 rebounds per game last season, earning Sun Belt First Team honors.

Brown played for Nevada and Arizona prior to his time with Louisiana. He earned Pac 12 Sixth Man of the Year honors with Arizona in 2020-21."

Way back when, Brown was at Woodcreek High then Prolific Prep. Is this an NIL move?

He is departing from Valley Christian (San Jose).

Skyline Basketball: "Congrats to former Trojan Walter Lum. Over the past two seasons, Walter was Whitman's 2nd leading scorer, while leading the team in assists & steals. He also led them to consecutive conference tourney title games.

This year, Walter was named 1st Team All-Conference."

For the 2022-23 season, the 5-10 Lum averaged 12.1 points while shooting 42%, 33% and 87%, 3.4 rebounds, a team high 97 assists and a team high 41 steals.  He is out of Lick Wilmerding High, the Bay Area Warriors, Skyline College and Whitman College.

6-foot-3 guard Joey (Marin Catholic) Calcaterra transferred to Connecticut for his graduate year after earning a degree at San Diego in Communication Studies and a minor in Business Administration. He nabbed a national championship ring in the Big Dance and contributed 5.8 points per game on 42%, 45% and 89% shooting respectively (112 of his 175 shot attempts were three-pointers). Calcaterra also grabbed 50 rebounds, dished out 46 assists and pilfered 22 steals.

7-foot-1 Mor Seck has completed his freshman season at Hawaii. Out of Archbishop Riordan and Prolific Prep, in 29 games, three starts and nine minutes a contest, he averaged 2.5 points and 2.6 boards, shooting 62% overall and 73% at the foul line. He blocked 23 shots, third on the team.

Archbishop Riordan's 6-foot-6 Christian Wise is walking on at San Jose State University. He was previously at Heritage High, transferring after his sophomore year. Don't know how much he'll play as a freshman but he'll likely lead the Spartan's in spectacular dunks.

Adrame Diongue has visited San Jose State University. He's a 7-foot, 190, transfer from Washington State.

As Paul Biacardi tweeted: "A few NBA scouts I spoke with are high on Adrame Diongue’s upside. At 7’ feet tall with a 7’6” wingspan he shrinks the floor defensively & protects the rim with quick bounce. Finisher & facilitates too. A lot to work with if healthy."

Diongue is a sophomore-to-be who played for new Spartan Assistant Coach Ed Gipson at Arizona Compass Prep.

John Bynum Jr.: "Brandon Scott (Cosumnes River College) has committed to Western Carolina University. Scott averaged 16.9 points and 5.9 rebounds last season for the Hawks."

Scott is a 6-foot-5 sophomore.
