Pullin already has a degree from UN Riverside. Might he want to return to the Bay Area for his final season if his pro aspirations don't work out?

Out of Menlo School, 6-foot-7 Cole Kastner is making a name for himself in lacrosse at Virginia. He plans to play his fourth season in the sport at Charlottesville, then use his fifth year of eligibility playing basketball and he wouldn't mind some Pac-12 schools looking at him.

Chico State Men's Basketball: "Congratulations to Assistant Coach Ashton Pomrehn on accepting the Head Assistant Coach position at Shasta Junior College!"

Casey Norris will serve as director of basketball operations." and "We are very fortunate to be adding Casey Norris to our staff today,” said Newman. "He is an incredible competitor, and his tireless work-ethic is one that will benefit the Matadors greatly. Casey is proficient in a lot of different areas, and he’ll add to our program’s success in many ways."

Prior to his coaching career, Norris played two seasons at Ohlone College, one season at Loyola Marymount and his final collegiate season at California Baptist. With the CBU, Norris helped lead the program to a 26-5 record and a berth into the NCAA Division II Tournament.

The Broncos may have another first-rounder:

"Brandin Podziemski, Santa Clara

Podziemski’s measurements were somewhat underwhelming, but his stat-sheet-stuffing performance Wednesday is another example of why he deserves first-round consideration. He played his role as a secondary creator admirably, dishing out seven assists and battling well on the glass in addition to his 10 points. He’s a smart player, a strong outside shooter and has more pop athletically than he has been given credit for, as evidenced by his 39-inch vertical jump. Santa Clara produced one of the NBA’s best rookies in Jalen Williams a year ago, and a second first-rounder in as many years isn’t out of the question thanks to Podziemski’s positive showing."

Merritthoops: "Merritt welcomes 6’7” wing Aziz Hantous for the 23-24 season #merritthoops let’s gooo!"

Gibbons is 6-foot-5 and out of Sequoia High.

Former San Jose State University Assistant Coach Ben Johnson is now in the same position at Northern Arizona.

Interesting move.

Skyline Basketball: "Congrats to DeAndre Minor (Carlmont HS) for signing with KeelhaulersMBB. DeAndre has worked long & hard for this! His perseverance, dedication & development were on full display this season, as he averaged 14ppg & 7rpg. PROUD that he and his story are part of our #SkylineMBBFam."

--------------------

Daniel Smith: "I am so grateful to be committing to Merritt College in Oakland. Thank you to Coach Jones and Coach Rob for the opportunity. I can’t wait to get started."
